The station has been keeping people informed with local and regional news and information for nearly seven decades. CJBQ's news room covers local government meetings, press conferences, court proceedings, school board meetings and many charity events. CJBQ's morning show host Matt Mitchell has been informing and entertaining morning listeners for over 20 years! Lorne Brooker hosts the country's longest continuous running talk show weekday mornings at 9am, JD Brown takes over after 11 until the news at noon, broadcasting veteran Jim Wright hosts the midday pop standards from 12:30 to 3, then a blast from the past with Freddy Vette spinning the rock and roll classics of the 50s and 60s until the John Tesh radio show at 7. Jack Miller brings you the play by play action of the Belleville Bulls throughout the OHL season and Brian Decaire anchors the weekend mornings including Classic Country Sunday. CJBQ also promotes hundreds of local events and attends countless events throughout the year. CJBQ has delivered the goods 1946 and will continue to do so!
